Funny !

Don't ask me why I am writing this, or what made me remember the below mentioned conversation, Praveen Swamigal has his own ways of tingling with Nirvana.... :-) !!!

This happenned sometime in the late 1999... after umpteen attempts at coaxing, guiding, motivating, and encouranging me to continue with the college, I go back to my poor appa :

"I don't want to go to college"

"Not again..."

"I told you I don't want to do software engineering... I don't see myself as a software engineer... I see myself as a journalist.... a photo journalist at that...a job which involves passion... where you put your soul into it..."

"OK, quit it"

"WHAT?? You serious !!!"

"Yes, quit it. I will buy 2-3 buffaloes and a land in Tirunelveli for you."

Hmmm...Nalladhukku kaalam illa....buffaloes in return for passion... !!!

Paavam Praveen... !!!

Weightloss is a mystery... its..its more like a mirage... !!! But then I got the better out of it...  you see with the kind of brillianto ideas I come up with, sometimes it makes me standup in respect... for myself...!!!

Idea mani says: To kill your craving, write it down and stare at it for an hour  !

SK2 : Yeah, but are you sure this is the right train. I am not sure about the platform number or the train... :-( !!!

SK1: Heh...what difference does it make, we'll either ways have a jolly good oorsuthal of the place... :-) !!!

Gang Leader : Heh..silly fellows... lemme get this straight bichezz !!
I know how to get things done here....

(Leans out of the train footboard a la Rajnikant style...tunring towards Mango Man, who's merrily involved in his joblessness)

Oh Bhaiyya....arre oh bhaaai....yeh train kaunsi platform se jaayegi....!!!

(SK1 and SK2 look at each other...poor guys still trying to comprehend the question)

(Mango Man stoned and trying to believe the question, gives a composed answer....)

Mango Man: Mem..abh train isi platform mein khadi hai to yaheen se jaayegi na mem... !!!

Drop dead silence..SK1 and SK2 look at each other again...roll out through the next exit... !!

The rest of the journey continues with the Gang Leader pouring archanais to the Mango Man with the extended vocabulary for his inability to comprehend the intelligent question... !!!

Hah.. beat that bichezz.... !!!

Everytime we sit together to watch Airtel Super Singer, my amma chides me for not learning music in my younger days...!!! Infact, during those younger days I had considered starting a bakery of my own... and lead a purpose driven life (something which didn’t go well with my family).... yeah so somewhere in between... these days I am fascinated by the idea of me being praised by the likes of Chitra, Mano, Suchi, and Karthik... and my wife asking me to sing a song everytime she feels down.... ;-) !!!

I remember.....The last time I ran to register for a music class..... was in school... where apart from the various nymphets accompanying you in the music class... somebody had spread a rumour about free mutta (egg) puffs for snacks and free trips to a couple of national integration camps... (Me, I went because every cell in body breaths and bleeds music)... !!!

For no reason.. I was countinuously mumbling the song "zara zara touch me touch me touch me...zara zara hit me hit me hit me" while driving through ORR... and BAM....from out of nowhere this damn BMTC Volvo guy comes right next to my ORVM, honks right in my ears, and almost scrapes by my baby.... !!!

For a second I could feel my karma biting me in the ass... !!!

Washed my canvas off the dreams and joys... looks like there never were any colors before... :-)  !! This time I guess I'll paint it with my life... !!!

May be only man has evolved from monkey... and the mind is yet to ! The mind....its still a monkey... ;-) !!!
